1. What is the procedure after our date has been booked?
The DJ Worx team member responsible for your event will meet with you again a month before your event is due to take place to discuss the finer details of your function. He will require your list of requirements with regards to:
- Your music selection or playlist of songs to be played and not to be played.
- Number of guests that will be attending the function.
- Your itinary for the function and any special requirements.
- What you will require our team member to wear if their are any specifications for your event.
- Where will you require sound equipment and our team member to set up.
- What additional equipment will you require if any.
2. What is the procedure for the day of the event?
On the date specified by the client the team member responsible for their function plus an additional team member, if the size of the event requires it, will arrive at the designated venue 1 hours before the function. Dependent on access to the designated area, team members will set up the required equipment and do a full rig test of sound (speakers, mixer, cd decks or vinyl decks and microphone) and lighting equipment. DJ Worx Team Members have played at the majority of the preferred venues so they are familiar with the challenges for those venues and the procedures required by the proprietors.
3. What is the procedure for payment?
DJ Worx requires that 50% of the quote value be paid to secure the date for one of our team members. DJ Worx will quote on a rate for the agreed upon time frame with provision for extended time of Service as some events do run longer than others.
4. What are the clients responsibilities with regards to their events?
DJ Worx and it's team members require that the designated area be protected from adverse conditions to protect our team members and their equipment with a table for their equipment. A power outlet with sufficient output to power the equipment stipulated in the quote. If anything is unclear on the day of the meeting mentioned in point 1, please feel free to ask as many questions as possible so that there is no uncertainty with regards to any aspect of your event.
5. What are your policies with regards to events?
DJ Worx is a professional company which has a smart dress code policy. Our team members Do Not Consume Alcohol at any Weddings, Corporate Functions or Events. Our team members handle themselves with the utmost respect for our clients as well as the venues where their services are required.
6. What equipment will be provided with your service?
All equipment is quality tested before being transported to the designated venue. DJ Worx has wireless microphones for mobility and wired microphones for podiums etc. Lighting equipment is supplied on request. DJ Worx only uses signage at community based events, we never use signage of any nature at weddings or corporate events.
